About the Opportunity:
This MRI Tech contract position involves performing MR imaging in a healthcare setting. Responsibilities include ensuring imaging quality, adhering to safety protocols, and providing patient care during MRI procedures. This is a full-time contract position.
The estimated base pay for these positions are $63.25 to $74.75 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct MRI scans and ensure image quality.
- Administer contrast media in accordance with certification.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals.
- Document patient progress and maintain accurate records.
- Stay informed on advancements in radiologic technology and MRI techniques.
Job Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Graduate of an accredited Radiography program.
- NYS license in Radiography and certified by NYS to inject contrast media.
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists certification in Radiography and MRI.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in Diagnostic Imaging.
- Experience in MRI preferred.
- Proficiency in EMR, RIS, HIS, PACS, and modality-specific software.
