About the Opportunity:
This full-time contract position for a Radiologic Technologist in Interventional Radiology requires the professional to provide specialized care for patients. The role involves assisting in interventional radiology procedures, setting up equipment, and scrubbing on cases to support the interventionalist. This involves close collaboration with a team of healthcare professionals to ensure the delivery of high-quality care. Adherence to safety protocols and accurate documentation of patient information is crucial.
The estimated base pay for these positions are $66.00 to $78.00 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conducting angiography of the genitourinary system and angioplasty procedures.
- Providing expertise in adrenal angiography and embolization techniques.
- Collaborating with radiology teams to coordinate interventional cases.
- Monitoring and documenting patient progress and procedural outcomes.
- Staying informed on vascular and neurovascular radiology practices.
Job Requirements:
- ARRT (R) certification required.
- State Radiography License in NJ, obtainable within 1-2 weeks of employment.
- BLS and ACLS certifications needed by start date.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a relevant setting.
- Proficient in procedures such as liver biopsy, mesenteric angiogram, and embolization techniques.
- Proven ability to interpret dysrhythmias and set up radiology equipment.
- Completion of COVID-19 and flu vaccinations with no exemptions permitted.
