About the Opportunity:
This is a contract position for a Respiratory Therapist providing comprehensive respiratory care to pediatric patients at a respected children's hospital. Responsibilities include conducting diagnostic tests, developing treatment plans, providing emergency care, and working with ventilated patients in settings such as the Emergency Department, NICU, PICU, and general pediatrics care. This is a full-time position.
The estimated base pay for these positions is $55.00 to $65.00 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from the posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct diagnostic tests and create individualized treatment plans.
- Provide emergency respiratory care as required.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals in various hospital departments to coordinate patient care.
- Monitor and document patient progress attentively.
Job Requirements:
- Required certifications: Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT), PALS, NRP, and Basic Life Support (BLS).
- Must have a Virginia license in hand.
- Minimum 3 years of pediatric experience in relevant healthcare settings.
- Willingness to work with ventilated patients in specialized areas like ED, NICU, PICU, and pediatrics.
