About the Opportunity:
This opportunity involves working in a hospital setting, providing specialized care to pediatric patients. As a physician, the role requires coordination with peds/ED residents, handling medical conditions such as cardiac arrest, renal failure, trauma, and more. This is a part-time contract position requiring weekend coverage, with 24-hour shifts from 7 a.m. Saturday to 7 a.m. Monday, including on-campus responsibilities.
The estimated base pay for these positions are $3575.00 to $4225.00 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) are finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and create care plans for pediatric patients.
- Provide therapy and education for surgical and medical cases.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals such as radiologists, cardiologists, and neurologists to coordinate care.
- Monitor and document patient progress using the EPIC EMR system.
- Stay informed on latest practices in critical care management for pediatrics.
Job Requirements:
- Board Certified in Critical Care.
- Possession of an active SC State License.
- Certifications in PALS, ACLS, and BLS required.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in critical care settings.
- Clean background mandatory.
