Conflicts Coordinator

About the Opportunity

Our client is a well-known global law firm who is looking for a Conflicts Analyst to join their team in Manhattan, New York. In this role, you will support the team by conducting thorough conflicts checks and maintaining accurate records in the conflicts database. This role will be perfect for someone who demonstrates close attention to detail and excellent analytical, troubleshooting, organizational, and planning skills. The role is located in the NYC office 3x per week with 2x per week remote flexibility.

The annual base salary range is $80,000 to $95,000. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.

 

Responsibilities

  • Perform research in public databases and within the Firm’s conflict management systems
  • Assist in obtaining information necessary for the Firm to determine whether or not it may accept new clients and matters under prevailing ethical rules, applicable law, and internal policies
  • Input and maintain data in the conflicts review database
  • Assist in conflicts checks related to the hiring of attorney and non-attorney staff, as needed

 

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree is required
  • Excellent communication skills
  • 2+ years of Conflicts experience
