About the Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Director of Patient Services to lead our client’s home care agency’s clinical operations in Yonkers, New York. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in a Licensed Home Care Services Agency (LHCSA) or Certified Home Health Agency (CHHA) and a strong commitment to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care. This role requires exceptional leadership skills, regulatory expertise, and a passion for improving patient outcomes.
The annual base salary range is $120,000 to $145,000. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities
- Oversee all aspects of patient care services, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations, including Department of Health requirements for LHCSAs or CHHAs
- Develop, implement, and evaluate clinical policies, procedures, and programs to maintain the highest standards of care
- Lead and manage clinical staff, including recruitment, training, performance evaluations, and professional development
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated care and seamless service delivery
- Monitor and ensure compliance with documentation standards, including patient assessments, care plans, and regulatory requirements
- Drive quality improvement initiatives and implement evidence-based practices to enhance patient outcomes
- Serve as a resource and mentor to staff, providing guidance on clinical and operational matters
- Manage relationships with referral sources, community partners, and stakeholders to promote the organization’s services and expand patient access
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), such as patient satisfaction, clinical outcomes, and operational efficiency, and implement action plans to address areas of improvement
- Participate in budget planning and ensure the efficient use of resources to meet financial goals
Job Requirements
- Current RN license in the state of practice (required)
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) or related field (Master’s preferred)
- Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience, including at least 2 years in a leadership role within a LHCSA or CHHA
- Thorough knowledge of home care regulations, including state and federal guidelines
- Proven ability to lead and inspire a diverse clinical team
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Commitment to patient-centered care and quality improvement
- Knowledge of managed care and value-based payment models
