About the Opportunity
Our Client is looking for a Office Manager to join their team located in Long Island, New York. They are a thriving practice with a high patient volume, specializing in diseases of the gastrointestinal tract. They utilize state-of-the-art dermatology equipment and advanced treatment modalities This role is responsible for overseeing all of the administrative and business operations of the practice.
The annual base salary range is $80,000 to $120,000. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Responsibilities
- Oversee a team of eight front desk and medical assistants
- Communicate professionally with the public
- Must deal with difficult situations while being able to behave ethically with a high level of emotion intelligence
- Understand principals of quality management and be able to lead and facilitate groups of individuals that emphasizes quality, continuous improvement, and high performance
- Maintain a “patient comes first” attitude
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree is required, Master’s degree preferred
- Proven management skills with a minimum of three to five years of experience working in a management capacity in a medical office or clinical setting
- Must project a professional image, set an example of excellence and earn the confidence of others
