About the Opportunity
Our client is a prestigious financial services firm in Manhattan that is looking for an experienced and forward-thinking Global Head of Human Resources! This executive-level role is critical in driving organizational growth, fostering a strong and inclusive culture, and aligning HR initiatives with overall business objectives. The ideal candidate will bring strategic leadership, deep expertise in global HR operations, and a strong understanding of the financial services industry.
The annual base salary range is $300,000 to $500,000. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a global HR strategy aligned with business goals
- Advise senior leadership on organizational design, workforce planning, and leadership development
- Foster a collaborative, inclusive, and high-performance culture
- Ensure compliance with global labor laws and foster a positive workplace culture
- Serve as a trusted liaison between employees and leadership
- Oversee global recruitment efforts to attract top professionals
- Implement talent development and succession planning strategies
- Drive performance management to enhance growth, accountability, and engagement
- Oversee competitive compensation, benefits, and retention programs
- Optimize HR processes, leveraging technology for efficiency
- Champion DEI initiatives and stay ahead of HR best practices in financial services
Job Requirements
- 15+ years in HR leadership, with 5+ years in senior HR roles within financial services
- Experience supporting an employee population of 5000 or more employees is strongly preferred
- Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or HR certification preferred
- Deep expertise in global employment regulations (U.S., Europe, Asia)
- Proven ability to thrive in fast-paced, entrepreneurial environments
- Experience leading multi-regional HR teams with a focus on talent and organizational development
- Strong background in compensation strategy, executive coaching, and change management
