Global Head of Human Resources

About the Opportunity

Our client is a prestigious financial services firm in Manhattan that is looking for an experienced and forward-thinking Global Head of Human Resources! This executive-level role is critical in driving organizational growth, fostering a strong and inclusive culture, and aligning HR initiatives with overall business objectives. The ideal candidate will bring strategic leadership, deep expertise in global HR operations, and a strong understanding of the financial services industry.

The annual base salary range is $300,000 to $500,000. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.

 

Job Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a global HR strategy aligned with business goals
  • Advise senior leadership on organizational design, workforce planning, and leadership development
  • Foster a collaborative, inclusive, and high-performance culture
  • Ensure compliance with global labor laws and foster a positive workplace culture
  • Serve as a trusted liaison between employees and leadership
  • Oversee global recruitment efforts to attract top professionals
  • Implement talent development and succession planning strategies
  • Drive performance management to enhance growth, accountability, and engagement
  • Oversee competitive compensation, benefits, and retention programs
  • Optimize HR processes, leveraging technology for efficiency
  • Champion DEI initiatives and stay ahead of HR best practices in financial services

 

Job Requirements

  • 15+ years in HR leadership, with 5+ years in senior HR roles within financial services
  • Experience supporting an employee population of 5000 or more employees is strongly preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or HR certification preferred
  • Deep expertise in global employment regulations (U.S., Europe, Asia)
  • Proven ability to thrive in fast-paced, entrepreneurial environments
  • Experience leading multi-regional HR teams with a focus on talent and organizational development
  • Strong background in compensation strategy, executive coaching, and change management
