About the Opportunity
Our client, a leading firm in the real estate finance industry, is looking for an experienced Systems Administrator Consultant to join their team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for ensuring the security, availability, and optimal functionality of the entire IT environment. This critical position involves supporting the client’s MSP team and encompasses a broad range of tasks, including scripting, automation, and troubleshooting complex technical challenges.
The base pay for this position is $60 to $75 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities
- System Management: Oversee management and maintenance of Microsoft 365 tenant and integrated products. Manage Windows servers and AWS cloud solutions. Assist with Microsoft Co-pilot and/or ChatGPT Enterprise integrations
- Troubleshooting & Support: Resolve complex system and network issues and implement security policies. Manage system updates, backups, and monitor performance
- Server/Storage Management: Install, configure, and maintain operating systems and application software. Proactively monitor system infrastructure for maximum availability. Implement backup and recovery strategies
- Security & Compliance: Implement and monitor security measures to protect IT infrastructure. Participate in incident response and stay updated on industry compliance standards
Job Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in Windows, Linux, and AWS administration
- Proficiency in PowerShell scripting and automation
- Strong knowledge of DNS, DHCP, VPNs, and firewalls
- AWS Solutions Architect certification (Professional or equivalent) is a plus
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
