About the Opportunity:
CT Technologist provides high-quality computed tomography imaging services to patients. Responsibilities include operating CT equipment, positioning patients correctly, and ensuring the images are useful for diagnosis and treatment. The role ensures adherence to safety standards and patient confidentiality. This is a full-time contract position requiring work from 11:00 pm to 1:00 pm with a 60-minute break, working 12 hours per day on Sunday-Tuesday and Thursday-Saturday, including holidays.
The estimated base pay for these positions are $60.50 to $71.50 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct CT scans and operate Apex and GE scanner systems proficiently.
- Position patients to capture the correct images and ensure their safety and comfort.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to interpret and communicate findings.
- Monitor and document patient progress and report any unusual findings.
- Maintain CE credits as per the requirements of the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
Job Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Graduate of an accredited Radiography program.
- New York State license in Radiography and certification to inject contrast media.
- ARRT certification in Radiography and Computed Tomography.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in diagnostic imaging.
- EPIC charting system experience preferred.
- COVID-19 and Flu vaccines required, with specified exemptions allowed.
