About the Opportunity:
We seek a CT Technologist (CT Tech) for a contract position. This role involves performing diagnostic imaging procedures, managing patient safety, and accurately documenting all activities. This is a full-time contract position that includes night shifts from 12 a.m. to 8 a.m., Monday through Friday, with alternating weekends.
The estimated base pay for these positions is $60.50 to $71.50 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from the posted hiring range based on geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) are finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct CT scans using advanced imaging technology.
- Provide expertise in preparing and administering contrast media.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including Respiratory and Social Services.
- Monitor and document patient progress and report findings.
- Stay informed on radiography and computed tomography advancements.
Job Requirements:
- BLS certification (required).
- HS Diploma/GED (required).
- Graduated from an accredited Radiography program (required).
- NYS license in Radiography and certification to inject contrast media (required).
- Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists in Radiography & Computed Tomography.
- Maintain CE credits per American Registry of Radiologic Technologists requirements.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in Diagnostic Imaging (required).
- Recent relevant experience in CT (preferred).
- Proficiency in EMR, RIS, HIS, PACS, Modality specific software (required).
