About the Opportunity:
This contract opportunity seeks a Hospitalist to deliver high-quality care to adult patients in an inpatient setting. The physician conducts rounding and admissions, including ICU management, at a facility with 25 beds. This part-time position requires working night shifts, specifically covering the 7p-7a shift intermittently to fill gaps in the 2027 schedule. The role requires managing med/surg and ICU patients while maintaining comprehensive and efficient patient care.
The estimated base pay for these positions are $156.75 to $185.25 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct rounding and admissions, including ICU admits.
- Provide comprehensive internal medicine services to adult patients.
- Collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
- Monitor and document patient progress and outcomes.
- Stay informed on current practices in hospitalist medicine and care coordination.
Job Requirements:
- MD with current BLS and ACLS certifications.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in an inpatient or hospital setting.
- Preferred experience with vent management, intubations, and central line insertion.
- Proficiency in using EPIC EMR system preferred.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
