About the Opportunity:
The CT Technologist provides critical imaging services to patients, including conducting CT scans for diagnostic and treatment planning purposes. This part-time contract position involves working on Saturdays and Sundays from 8 AM to 12 AM, and one shift during the week on Monday from 4 PM to 12 AM.
The estimated base pay for these positions are $60.50 to $71.50 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conducting CT imaging assessments and creating detailed reports.
- Providing patient education and preparation for imaging procedures.
- Collaborating with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate imaging and diagnosis.
- Monitoring and documenting patient reactions and progress during procedures.
- Staying informed on new imaging techniques and safety protocols.
Job Requirements:
- Graduate of an approved school of Radiology.
- New York State License in Radiologic Technology required.
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in CT required.
- 2-3 years of experience in a similar role.
- Experience with various imaging techniques and equipment.
- EPIC charting experience preferred.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Experience with 3D rendering and multiple imaging studies (e.g., contrast, non-contrast).
