About the Opportunity:
The role of a Dual Modality CT Tech/X-Ray Tech involves providing comprehensive Cat Scan and Radiographic services at the hospital. This full-time contract position requires maintaining and exhibiting behavior that promotes patient confidence and trust. The position operates independently and demonstrates proficiency in both Cat Scan Imaging Exams and all diagnostic and fluoroscopic examinations. The role includes preparing and entering necessary documentation, checking equipment regularly, and addressing the special needs of patients, including those with physical challenges.
The estimated base pay for these positions is $60.50 to $71.50 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conducting Cat Scan Imaging Exams and producing radiographs as per established policies.
- Providing necessary documentation, such as informed patient consent and patient chart documentation.
- Collaborating with radiology staff to coordinate effective use of equipment and patient care.
- Monitoring and documenting patient progress, maintaining high safety standards.
- Staying informed on radiation safety standards and hospital policies.
Job Requirements:
- High School Graduate or Equivalent.
- Graduate of a program in Radiologic Technology.
- NYSDOH License.
- ARRT Certification.
