About the Opportunity:
The Nuclear Medical Technician provides essential nuclear medicine services, including the operation of the Nuclear Lab. Responsibilities include testing equipment, educating patients and families about procedures, and performing tests according to applicable policies, procedures, and standards. This is a full-time contract position.
The estimated base pay for these positions is $78.54 to $92.82 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from the posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct nuclear lab operations, including testing equipment.
- Educate patients and families regarding procedures.
- Perform procedures in accordance with all applicable policies, procedures, and standards.
Job Requirements:
- ARRT or NMTCB Certification in Nuclear Medicine.
- Post Secondary Certification in Computed Tomography.
- Radiologic Technologist Licensing issued by New York State Dept. of Health.
- BCLS certification required.
- 1 year of experience as a Nuclear Tech.
- Associate Degree required; Bachelor& degree preferred.
