About the Opportunity:
As a Nuclear Medical Technician, provide specialized nuclear medicine services to patients. This part-time contract position operates Monday to Friday, from 7 am to 3:30 pm, with no holidays, call, or weekends required.
The estimated base pay for these positions are $61.38 to $72.54 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct nuclear medicine assessments and create treatment plans.
- Provide patient care through administering radiopharmaceuticals.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Monitor and document patient progress following procedures.
- Stay informed on advancements in nuclear medicine practices and technologies.
Job Requirements:
- Certification by the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB).
- ARRT certification in Nuclear Medicine.
- New York State Department of Health (NYSDOH) license to practice nuclear medicine.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- NIH Stroke Certification often required.
- Adherence to Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) regulations.
