About the Opportunity:
The role of a Sterile Processing Tech involves supporting clinical operations by ensuring all instruments, equipment, and treatment areas are cleaned, sterilized, and maintained according to the highest infection control standards. This is a full-time contract position.
The estimated base pay for these positions are $24.75 to $29.25 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Clean, sterilize, and maintain dental instruments and equipment in compliance with infection control standards.
- Prepare treatment rooms by ensuring sterilized instruments and materials are properly arranged.
- Operate autoclaves and other sterilization equipment with attention to detail.
- Monitor and log sterilization cycles and ensure all documentation meets safety requirements.
- Support the clinical team by maintaining a clean, organized, and fully stocked sterilization area.
- Dispose of hazardous and biohazardous waste following proper protocols.
- Participate in team huddles and contribute to a clean, efficient, and positive working environment.
Job Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous dental or medical sterilization experience preferred.
- Dental Assistant Certification preferred.
