About the Opportunity:
Join our team as a Dental Hygienist, working together with the dentist to meet the oral health needs of patients. This position emphasizes a high level of patient care and satisfaction in a team-based environment. Handle a variety of clinical duties essential for dental office operations, ranging in complexity and skill, all within a part-time contract capacity. Exceptional customer service skills and a strong commitment to collaboration with patients, doctors, dental assistants, and other dental office team members are essential.
The estimated base pay for these positions are $41.25 to $48.75 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Operate GBT Guided Biofilm Therapy equipment as required.
- Provide oral hygiene dental treatment and education following state-approved guidelines.
- Apply fluoride and protective sealants, and remove calculus, stain, and plaque from above and below the gum line.
- Provide nutritional counseling and self-care programs to prevent diseases.
- Record and review patient medical histories.
- Uphold office policy including HIPAA & OSHA regulations.
- Contribute to team efforts by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Order and track inventory as necessary.
Job Requirements:
- Graduation from an accredited Dental Hygiene school.
- One (1) year of hands-on experience as a dental hygienist.
- Experience operating GBT Guided Biofilm Therapy equipment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- CPR certification.
- Valid Dental Hygienist License.
