About the Opportunity:
As a Dental Hygienist, you work together with the dentist to meet the oral health needs of patients. You ensure a high level of patient care and satisfaction while operating in a team-based environment. You handle a variety of clinical duties within dental office operations, ranging in complexity and all requiring exceptional customer service skills and a strong commitment to collaboration with patients, doctors, dental assistants, and other dental office team members. This is a full-time contract position.
The estimated base pay for these positions are $41.25 to $48.75 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from the posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Operate GBT Guided Biofilm Therapy equipment as required.
- Provide oral hygiene dental treatment and education according to state-approved guidelines.
- Apply fluoride and protective sealants, and remove calculus, stain, and plaque.
- Offer nutritional counseling and self-care programs to prevent disease.
- Record and review patient medical histories.
- Adhere to office policies including HIPAA & OSHA.
- Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Order and manage inventory as needed.
Job Requirements:
- Dental Hygienist License and X-Ray Certifications.
- Graduation from an accredited Dental Hygiene school.
- One year of hands-on experience as a hygienist.
- Experience in operating GBT Guided Biofilm Therapy equipment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
