About the Opportunity:
Work together with the dentist to meet the oral health needs of the patient as a Dental Hygienist. Provide a high level of patient care and satisfaction while operating in a team-based environment. Handle a variety of clinical duties for dental office operations, requiring an exceptional level of customer service skills and a strong commitment to working well with patients, doctors, dental assistants, and other dental office team members. This is a full-time contract position.
The estimated base pay for these positions are $44.00 to $52.00 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Operate GBT Guided Biofilm Therapy equipment.
- Provide oral hygiene dental treatment and education in accordance with state guidelines.
- Apply fluoride and protective sealants and remove calculus, stain, and plaque.
- Provide nutritional counseling and self-care programs.
- Record and review patient medical histories.
- Uphold office policy including HIPAA & OSHA compliance.
- Order and keep track of inventory.
Job Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Graduation from an accredited Dental Hygiene school.
- Hold a current state issued Dental Hygiene license.
- CPR certification and X-ray training or certification.
- One year of hands-on experience as a hygienist.
- GBT Guided Biofilm Therapy equipment operation experience.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
