About the Opportunity:
This contract position requires working together with the dentist to meet the oral health needs of patients. As a dental hygienist, you provide a high level of patient care and satisfaction while operating in a team-based environment. You handle a variety of clinical duties for dental office operations, which range in complexity and skill. All aspects of the job require an exceptional level of customer service skills and a strong commitment to working well with patients, doctors, dental assistants, and other dental office team members.
The estimated base pay for these positions are $46.75 to $55.25 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Operate Guided Biofilm Therapy equipment.
- Provide oral hygiene dental treatment and education in accordance with state guidelines.
- Apply fluoride and protective sealants, and remove calculus, stain, and plaque.
- Provide nutritional counseling and self-care programs to prevent disease.
- Record and review patient medical histories.
- Uphold office policies, including HIPAA and OSHA standards.
- Order and track inventory as needed.
- Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related tasks as needed.
Job Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Graduation from an accredited Dental Hygiene school.
- One year of hands-on experience as a hygienist.
- GBT Guided Biofilm Therapy equipment operation experience.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- DH State license and X-Ray Certification.
