About the Opportunity:
This position provides comprehensive dental hygiene care as a Dental Hygienist in a part-time contract role within a team-based environment. Responsibilities include collaboratively meeting the oral health needs of patients alongside dentists, and ensuring a high level of patient care and satisfaction. This role manages a variety of clinical duties pivotal to dental office operations, requiring exceptional customer service and collaboration with dental office team members.
The estimated base pay for these positions are $52.25 to $61.75 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Operate GBT Guided Biofilm Therapy equipment as required.
- Provide oral hygiene treatment and education in line with state guidelines.
- Apply fluoride and protective sealants, and remove calculus, stain, and plaque.
- Offer nutritional counseling and self-care programs to prevent disease.
- Record and review patient medical histories.
- Uphold office policies including HIPAA & OSHA regulations.
- Order and manage inventory as needed.
Job Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Graduation from an accredited Dental Hygiene school.
- DH State license and X-Ray Certification.
- One year of hands-on experience as a hygienist.
- Experience with GBT Guided Biofilm Therapy equipment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
