About the Opportunity:
An acute care trauma center in Phoenix is seeking a Radiologist for a short-term locum tenens assignment. This is an onsite-only role focused on general diagnostic radiology with a strong emphasis on trauma cases during evening hours. You will work independently while also supporting a teaching environment with residents on site.
The estimated base pay for these positions is $385 to $400 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Interpret general diagnostic radiology studies across multiple modalities
- Provide coverage for both pediatric and adult patient populations
- Manage a high volume of trauma-related imaging during evening shifts
- Work as the solo Radiologist during assigned shifts
- Collaborate with clinical teams and support resident education as needed
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation
Job Requirements:
- Board Certified in Radiology (required)
- Minimum 2 years of radiology experience required
- Active Arizona license or willingness to obtain
- Experience in general diagnostic radiology and trauma imaging
- Ability to work independently in a high-volume setting

- Schedule: Evening Shifts | 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM or 5:00 PM – 11:00 PM
- Assignment Length: 8 Weeks (through July 2026)
- Start Date: May 18, 2026
- Setting: Acute Care Hospital (Trauma Center) | Onsite Only
- Onsite role only (no remote capability; facility does not provide remote workstations)
- Short-term assignment with coverage needed through summer
