About the Opportunity:
Provide specialized outpatient cardiology care to adult and geriatric patients in Ketchikan, AK. This part-time contract position involves working 4-5 days per month, ensuring excellent patient outcomes through clinical expertise. The estimated base pay for these positions are $209.00 to $247.00 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct detailed cardiovascular assessments and create individualized care plans.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals in family medicine, obstetrics, pediatrics, orthopedics, general surgery, emergency, and hospitalist settings to coordinate comprehensive care.
- Monitor and document patient progress with proficiency in EPIC EMR.
- Stay informed on the latest cardiology research and practices.
Job Requirements:
- Active AK medical license.
- BLS certification from AHA or American Red Cross.
- Proficient EPIC user.
- Must provide documentation of cardiovascular disease services in last 24 months, unless training completed in the previous year.
