About the Opportunity:
This part-time contract position offers the opportunity for a Physician specializing in Cardiology to provide outpatient care to adult and geriatric patients. The role includes assessing patient cardiovascular health, developing treatment plans, and collaborating with a team of healthcare professionals such as family medicine, OBGYN, pediatrics, orthopedics, general surgery, ED, and hospitalists. There is no call requirement or weekend shifts, providing an opportunity to serve the community in a focused and flexible setting. The assignment spans 6 months with a schedule of 4-5 days per month from 8am-5pm, Monday through Friday.
The estimated base pay for these positions are $209.00 to $247.00 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments of cardiovascular health and create comprehensive care plans.
- Provide education and guidance on managing cardiovascular diseases.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure cohesive patient care.
- Monitor and document patient progress accurately.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of cardiology research and practices.
Job Requirements:
- MD/DO in Cardiology with appropriate licensure or willingness to obtain an AK license.
- BLS certification from AHA or American Red Cross.
- Experience using EPIC EMR system.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to provide clinical documentation of cardiovascular disease services within the past 24 months.
