About the Opportunity:
A Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) provides anesthesia care to patients undergoing surgical and diagnostic procedures in both inpatient and outpatient settings. This is a full-time contract position. The role involves working in a level 1 trauma center, collaborating with anesthesiologists and residents, and providing care across a variety of settings including main ORs, outpatient surgery centers, and endoscopy centers.
The estimated base pay for these positions are $143.00 to $169.00 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct anesthesia assessments and create individualized care plans.
- Provide anesthesia care and monitoring during surgeries and procedures.
- Collaborate with anesthesiologists, surgeons, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care.
- Monitor and document patient progress and response to anesthesia.
- Stay informed on current anesthesia practices and techniques.
Job Requirements:
- Valid ACLS and BLS certifications completed through the AHA.
- Board Certification as CRNA.
- Minimum of 2 years' experience, preferably with academic and level 1 or 2 trauma experience.
- Experience in inpatient settings preferred but will consider outpatient-only candidates.
- COVID and Flu vaccines required, exemptions not approved.
- Virginia license required.
