About the Opportunity
This is a full-time contract position for a Nurse Anesthetist, CRNA, in the Float Pool at an ambulatory surgery center and hospital in Charleston, WV. The role involves providing anesthesia services for a range of surgical procedures, including general, vascular, orthopedic, urology, plastics, dental, IR, CDL, thoracic, pediatrics, neuro, cardiac, and endoscopy center surgeries. The position requires the ability to work in Main OR's, primarily at Memorial. Coverage involves catering to patients of all ages, in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
The estimated base pay for these positions are $156.75 to $185.25 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities
- Conducting anesthesia assessments and creating care plans for surgical procedures.
- Providing anesthesia services across various types of surgeries.
- Collaborating with diverse healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
- Monitoring and documenting patient progress and anesthesia outcomes.
- Staying informed on current anesthesia practices and safety protocols.
Job Requirements
- CRNA board certification in WV.
- Valid WV license.
- Certifications: ACLS, BLS, and PALS.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in anesthesia services.
- Proficiency in using the Cerner EMR system.
