About the Opportunity:
The Nurse Anesthetist, CRNA Float Pool position entails providing anesthesia care to a diverse patient population across various age groups, including neonates, adolescents, infants, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics. This full-time contract position requires work in multiple settings, including ambulatory surgery centers and hospitals. The role involves working primarily in the Main Operating Rooms, with exposure to a wide range of surgical procedures such as general, vascular, orthopedic, urology, plastics, dental, interventional radiology, cardiovascular, thoracic, pediatrics, neuro, cardiac, and endoscopy.
The estimated base pay for these positions are $156.75 to $185.25 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conducting pre-anesthetic assessments and creating individualized care plans.
- Providing anesthesia care and monitoring patients throughout surgical procedures.
- Collaborating with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care.
- Monitoring and documenting patient progress and response to anesthesia.
- Staying informed on the latest anesthesia techniques and best practices.
Job Requirements:
- Board Certification in West Virginia.
- ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in an anesthesia setting.
- Experience with Cerner EMR system.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
