About the Opportunity:
This contract position for a Physician in Titusville, FL involves providing specialized medical care through conducting mammography procedures, reading general radiology studies, and performing light interventional radiology (IR) procedures. The role requires hands-on service only, excluding remote work options. This is a full-time contract position.
The estimated base pay for these positions are $326.56 to $385.94 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conducting mammography screenings and diagnostic procedures.
- Providing accurate readings of general radiology studies and modalities including XR, CT, MR, US, and fluoroscopy.
- Performing light IR procedures such as thyroid, lung, bone, liver, renal biopsies, and drainages like paracentesis and thoracentesis.
- Collaborating with radiology teams to coordinate care effectively.
- Monitoring case volume and productivity with an expectation of 70 wRVUs per shift.
Job Requirements:
- Board Certification in Radiology is required.
- Ability to perform mammography and interventional radiology procedures.
- Proficiency in using Merge PACS, Fluency dictation, and Epic EMR systems.
- Skilled in various modalities such as XR, CT, MR, US, and fluoroscopy.
