About the Opportunity:
We present a full-time contract position for a Compliance Officer responsible for managing compliance issues regarding condominiums, timeshares, and mobile homes. The role includes contacting complainants to discuss complaint details, reading and interpreting state statutes, communicating with the public, and advising complainants about the Division's jurisdiction. Additional duties involve closing cases by entering codes into Versa and documenting all actions in the OnBase system.
The estimated base pay for these positions are $28.32 to $33.47 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Contact constituents/complainants to discuss filed complaint details.
- Read and interpret state statutes to analyze issues.
- Provide resources or referrals as appropriate.
- Communicate with the public, ensuring high-level customer service.
- Document actions in the OnBase system.
- Send written correspondence to complainants after supervisor approval.
- Close cases by entering appropriate codes and activities in Versa.
Job Requirements:
- High school diploma.
- Ability to read and interpret Florida State Statutes.
- Minimum of 3 years experience working with the public in a professional work environment.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills with the public.
- Experience analyzing complaints.
- Experience using Versa and OnBase system is highly desired.
- Bachelor's Degree is highly desired.
