About the Opportunity:
The Emergency Department Registered Nurse (ED RN) provides comprehensive care and support to patients in a fast-paced environment. Duties include triaging, managing medical emergencies, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality care to patients ranging from newborns to geriatrics. This is a full-time contract position operating in a dynamic emergency department setting.
The estimated base pay for these positions are $51.43 to $60.78 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct patient assessments and develop effective care plans.
- Provide emergency care and interventions to stabilize critical patients.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure coordinated patient care.
- Monitor patient progress and document interventions and outcomes.
- Stay informed on the latest emergency medicine practices and protocols.
Job Requirements:
- Active NY RN license with NURSYS Report verification.
- Current AHA ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS, and TNCC certifications.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in an emergency department setting with pediatric experience.
- Documented travel nursing experience required.
- Proficiency with EPIC EMR system.
- Driver's license with matching address to demographics.
