About the Opportunity:
This is a full-time contract position for an Infusion Oncology Outpatient RN at an esteemed cancer center. The role involves providing clinical care, coordination, and patient education to the Stem Cell Transplant and Cellular Therapy patient population. Responsibilities include administering chemotherapy, blood products, donor leukocytes, and CAR-T product infusions. Strong communication skills and flexibility are essential while working as part of a team. Independent critical thinking and ability to multitask are crucial for success in the role.
The estimated base pay for these positions are $50.60 to $59.80 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and create individualized care plans for patients.
- Provide chemotherapy and other infusion therapies.
- Collaborate with oncologists and multi-disciplinary teams to coordinate care.
- Monitor and document patient progress diligently.
- Stay informed on hematology and oncology research and best practices.
Job Requirements:
- RN license in New York.
- Minimum of 2 years recent acute care experience.
- Hematology/oncology experience required.
- ONC certification required.
- BLS certification (American Heart Association only).
- Telemetry experience required.
