About the Opportunity:
This contract position offers an opportunity for a Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Interventional Radiology in San Francisco, CA. As an RN in this setting, you provide high-quality care to patients during radiological procedures. The position requires floating to different units and adherence to variable start times in an 8-hour day schedule. The estimated base pay for these positions are $56.65 to $66.95 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct specific assessments and create care plans for interventional radiology patients.
- Provide support and education to patients and families regarding procedures and recovery.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals in radiology and pharmacy to coordinate care.
- Monitor and document patient progress during and post-procedure, ensuring patient safety and well-being.
- Stay informed on latest research and practices in interventional radiology.
Job Requirements:
- California RN License.
- BLS and ACLS certifications.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in interventional radiology and special procedures.
- Preferred previous charge experience.
- Proficiency in charting systems, specifically Epic.
- Key skills in end-tidal CO2 monitoring, antihypertensives, and emergency medications.
