About the Opportunity:
Our client, a respected healthcare network in the New York City metro area, is seeking Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) for full-time contract roles across both inpatient and outpatient environments. Opportunities are available in hospital units, ambulatory clinics, primary care practices, specialty offices, and community health programs. These positions offer steady full-time hours, weekly pay, and the chance to support patient care in well-established clinical settings.
Assignments are available in Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens, The Bronx, and surrounding areas.
The estimated base pay for these positions is $35 to $40 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care under the supervision of RNs and providers
- Administer medications and perform treatments per clinical protocols
- Monitor vital signs and document patient information accurately
- Assist with wound care, specimen collection, and clinical procedures
- Support patient mobility, comfort, and daily care needs
- Assist with triage, rooming, and patient flow in outpatient settings
- Maintain compliance with safety, infection control, and regulatory standards
- Communicate patient updates to the interdisciplinary care team
Job Requirements:
- Active New York State LPN license required
- At least 1 year of LPN experience required
- BLS certification preferred
- Strong communication and clinical skills
- Ability to adapt to different clinical settings and patient populations
