About the Opportunity:
As a Registered Nurse (RN) in Long-Term Care (LTC), provide direct patient care and related support at our facility. This part-time contract position focuses on delivering personal care, including bathing, feeding, and aiding patients with mobility and daily needs. Manage routine tasks such as taking vital signs, recording medical information, and assisting in meal preparation and feeding. Support patient transfer and transport using equipment like Hoyer lifts.
The estimated base pay for these positions are $22.00 to $26.00 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and create care plans.
- Provide personal care, including bathing, dressing, and feeding.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to coordinate care.
- Monitor and document patient progress.
- Transfer and transport patients as needed.
Job Requirements:
- New York State Certification as a Nursing Attendant.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- 1 year of experience in long-term care settings.
- Skills in effective communication and strong work ethic.
