About the Opportunity:
This RN, Oncology position involves providing specialized care to oncology patients, including administering chemotherapy and managing complex medical conditions. Responsibilities include assessing patient needs, creating care plans, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes. This is a full-time contract position with 12-hour rotating day and night shifts, with the ability to float to other facilities. Completed references must be in hand at time of submission.
The estimated base pay for these positions are $52.25 to $61.75 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and create personalized care plans for oncology patients.
- Provide chemotherapy administration and monitoring.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals including physical therapy, respiratory services, and pharmacy.
- Monitor and document patient progress effectively.
- Stay informed on oncology research and practice developments.
Job Requirements:
- CA RN License.
- BSN degree.
- AHA BLS and ACLS certifications.
- Chemo (ONS/ONCC) certification.
- Minimum 2 years of inpatient oncology experience and BMT experience.
- Epic charting system experience.
- Preferred OCN certification.
