About the Opportunity:
Join our team as an Oncology RN, providing specialized care to outpatient oncology patients at our Porter Ranch cancer care location. This role involves delivering chemotherapy and other therapies, educating patients and families, and coordinating with healthcare teams for optimal care strategies. This is a full-time contract position.
The estimated base pay for these positions are $49.50 to $58.50 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conducting thorough patient assessments and formulating precise care plans.
- Providing chemotherapy administration and managing medication protocols.
- Collaborating with oncologists and healthcare professionals to ensure cohesive patient care.
- Monitoring and documenting patient progress comprehensively.
- Staying informed on current oncology research and best practices.
Job Requirements:
- Current BLS AHA and ONS certifications.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of outpatient oncology experience.
- Proficiency in Epic charting system and oncology-specific skills (e.g., port management, chemotherapy administration).
