About the Opportunity:
Our client, a leading children’s hospital in Norfolk, is seeking experienced Pediatric Registered Nurses (RNs) for full-time contract assignments. These roles support acute care pediatric units and require hands-on experience caring for infants, children, and adolescents in a hospital setting.

The estimated base pay for these positions are $50 to $75 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide direct nursing care to pediatric patients in acute care hospital units
- Administer medications, treatments, and therapies specific to pediatric populations
- Monitor patient status and respond to changes in condition
- Document care accurately in the electronic medical record
- Collaborate with physicians, pediatric specialists, and interdisciplinary teams
- Support and educate patients and families throughout hospitalization
- Maintain patient safety and infection control standards in accordance with hospital policy
Job Requirements:
- Active RN License (Virginia or Compact State) – Required
- BLS – Required
- Minimum 2 years of recent pediatric acute care or inpatient pediatric experience – Required
- Pediatric hospital experience – Required
- BSN – Required

- Pay: $2,900–$3,000 per week (based on experience)
- Travel Package: Available for qualifying travel nurses
- Referral Bonus: $500 for qualified referrals (100+ hours worked)
