About the Opportunity:
This is a full-time contract position for a Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Peripherally Inserted Central Catheter (PICC) services. The role involves providing essential care within the secure perimeter of a jail setting. The RN completes detailed assessments and performs blood draws as required. The RN must be flexible to float to another facility if needed and be available to work every other weekend with shifts from 3pm to 11:30pm on scheduled workdays.
The estimated base pay for these positions is $39.60 to $46.80 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from the posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conducting assessments and creating care plans for patients.
- Providing specialized care in PICC line procedures.
- Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to coordinate care.
- Monitoring and documenting patient progress.
Job Requirements:
- Active RN license in the state of Pennsylvania.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in conducting assessments and performing blood draws.
- Willingness to float to other facilities as required.
- Ability to work every other weekend and in the specified shift hours.
