About the Opportunity:
We’re seeking an experienced Travel Registered Nurse (RN) with a strong Cardiac Cath Lab background for a 13-week assignment in Brick, New Jersey. This opportunity is ideal for nurses who thrive in a fast-paced procedural environment and have experience supporting complex cardiovascular interventions alongside an interdisciplinary team.

The estimated base pay for this position is $75 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Support physicians during diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures.
- Prepare patients for procedures while providing education and emotional support.
- Continuously assess patient status before, during, and after procedures, responding quickly to changes in condition.
- Operate as the circulating nurse while maintaining a safe, organized procedural environment.
- Monitor hemodynamic status and assist with advanced cardiac support equipment when needed.
- Accurately document assessments, treatments, and procedural events using the facility’s electronic medical record system.
- Work collaboratively with physicians, technologists, and fellow nursing staff to ensure quality patient outcomes.
- Follow established clinical protocols and contribute to a culture focused on patient safety and high-quality care.
Job Requirements:
- Active New Jersey RN License or Multi-State Compact RN License
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA)
- Telemetry competency
- Minimum of one year of recent Cardiac Cath Lab RN experience
- Two years of Cath Lab experience preferred
Schedule & Call Requirements:
- Day shift
- Guaranteed 40 hours per week
- No floating required
- Hospital-provided scrubs
- Four weekday on-call shifts required during the assignment
- One weekend on-call rotation (Friday through Sunday)
- One on-call weekend per month
- Participation in one summer and one winter holiday on-call rotation

- Cardiac catheterization procedures
- Percutaneous Coronary Intervention (PCI)
- Left and Right Heart Catheterizations
- Impella support
- Intra-aortic Balloon Pump (IABP) management
- Circulating during Cath Lab procedures
- Pacemaker implantation cases
- Pulmonary embolism interventions
- EPIC documentation
- Mac-LAB experience
