Engage in various office support activities, including answering phones, handling patient inquiries, scheduling appointments, and assisting with treatment plan financial arrangements.
The estimated base pay for these positions are $17.05 to $20.15 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Acknowledge, smile, and greet patients upon arrival and dismissal.
- Respond to patient questions and concerns according to policies.
- Answer telephones and schedule appointments.
- Maintain and confirm appointment books, follow up on no shows or cancellations.
- Register patients on the sign-in sheet and post charges and payments to patient accounts.
- Check voicemail daily and maintain a clean, friendly waiting area.
Job Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Experience in answering telephones.
- Exceptional customer service skills.
- Experience in a dental, medical, or healthcare setting preferred.
- Knowledge of insurance plans (HMO/PPO) is a plus.
