About the Opportunity:
The role of a Patient Services Representative involves providing a high level of patient care and satisfaction in a team-based environment. The position requires handling patient inquiries, making appointments, and assisting with the completion of treatment plans through financial arrangements. This is a full-time contract position.
The estimated base pay for these positions are $19.25 to $22.75 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Acknowledge, smile, and greet patients upon arrival and dismissal.
- Respond to patient questions and concerns according to policies.
- Answer telephones and schedule appointments.
- Maintain appointment book and confirm appointments.
- Follow up on no-shows and cancellations of appointments.
- Register patients on the sign-in sheet and post charges/payments to accounts.
- Check voicemail on a daily basis.
- Maintain a clean and friendly waiting area for patients.
Job Requirements:
- Minimum of six months Denticon experience in the dental industry.
- Exceptional customer service skills and experience answering telephones.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Preferred experience working in a dental, medical, or other healthcare office.
- Knowledge of insurance plans (HMO/PPO) preferred.
