About the Opportunity:
The Surgical Tech provides critical support in the operating room, acting as a scrub person and preparing instruments, supplies, and equipment for surgical procedures. This full-time contract position includes participating in a multidisciplinary team to ensure quality patient care and collaborating closely with the surgical team.
The estimated base pay for these positions are $38.36 to $45.34 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conducting surgical preparation by setting up the operating room with necessary supplies.
- Providing scrub assistance during surgeries, particularly vascular and orthopedic procedures.
- Collaborating with surgeons, registered nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
- Monitoring and maintaining sterile environments throughout procedures.
- Staying informed on surgical best practices and procedures.
Job Requirements:
- Certification as a Surgical Technician.
- Minimum one year of experience in operating room settings.
- Experience with vascular and orthopedic procedures preferred.
