About the Opportunity:
This is a part-time contract position for an Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) focused on providing rehabilitative therapy to patients. The candidate engages in direct patient care, helping individuals improve their ability to perform daily activities.
The estimated base pay for these positions are $30.25 to $35.75 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conducting therapy sessions based on developed care plans.
- Providing therapeutic activities to improve patient independence.
- Collaborating with physical therapists, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care.
- Monitoring and documenting patient progress and response to treatments.
- Staying informed on advancements in occupational therapy practices.
Job Requirements:
- Associate degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
- Current COTA certification and state licensure.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a rehabilitation setting preferred.
- Strong communication and organizational skills are essential.
