About the Opportunity:
Join our team as a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to deliver exceptional physical therapy services to patients. This is a full-time contract position dedicated to caring for individuals and helping them achieve their rehabilitation goals.
The estimated base pay for these positions are $35.75 to $42.25 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct physical assessments and assist in creating personalized care plans.
- Provide therapeutic exercises and treatments under the supervision of a licensed PT.
- Collaborate with physical therapists and other healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive care.
- Monitor and document patient progress and report any changes to the supervising therapist.
- Stay informed on current best practices and developments in physical therapy.
Job Requirements:
- Associate's degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
- Current PTA certification and state licensure in New Jersey.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a rehabilitation or clinical setting.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
