About the Opportunity:
This contract opportunity for a Speech-Language Pathologist involves providing comprehensive speech therapy services to patients in a part-time capacity. Responsibilities include assessing communication and swallowing disorders and developing individualized care plans.
The estimated base pay for these positions are $45.10 to $53.30 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conducting assessments and creating individualized care plans for patients with speech and swallowing disorders.
- Providing therapy sessions tailored to patient needs and progress.
- Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians and occupational therapists, to optimize patient care.
- Monitoring and documenting patient progress and adjusting treatment plans accordingly.
- Staying informed on the latest research and techniques in speech-language pathology.
Job Requirements:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Current state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Maryland.
- Minimum of two years of experience in a clinical setting.
- Excellent communication and organization skills.
