About the Opportunity:
As a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP), provide specialized therapy services to patients in a dynamic healthcare environment. This part-time contract position involves conducting speech, language, and swallowing assessments, implementing individualized care plans, and improving patient communication abilities. The assignment requires splitting duties between two facilities, offering a varied and enriching work experience.
The estimated base pay for these positions are $36.30 to $42.90 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech, language, and swallowing assessments and create personalized care plans.
- Provide therapy to enhance communication and swallowing abilities.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals, including physicians and occupational therapists, to coordinate comprehensive care.
- Monitor and document patient progress and adapt care plans as necessary.
- Stay informed on current research and best practices in speech-language pathology.
Job Requirements:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathologist license or certification.
- Minimum of two years of experience in a clinical or healthcare setting.
- Experience working in multidisciplinary teams is preferred.
- Strong communication and organizational skills required.
