About the Opportunity:
The CT Technologist in Gloversville, NY provides expert-level computed tomography imaging services to patients, ensuring high-quality diagnostic results. This is a part-time contract position, requiring shifts from 6:45 p.m. to 7:15 a.m. on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
The estimated base pay for these positions are $58.82 to $69.52 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct computed tomography assessments and create comprehensive imaging care plans.
- Perform CT scans while adhering to safety and quality control procedures.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to coordinate imaging services.
- Monitor and document patient progress and scan results effectively.
- Stay informed on the latest CT technology advancements and safety protocols.
Job Requirements:
- ARRT certification required.
- ARRT – CT registry is REQUIRED.
- New York state license required.
- 1+ years of CT experience in a clinical setting.
- Proficient knowledge of CT quality control procedures, medical and surgical aseptic procedures, and anatomical posture and positions.
