About the Opportunity:
This role involves working as a CT Tech, providing comprehensive diagnostic imaging services to patients. Responsibilities include operating a Siemens Somatom Perspective CT scanner and adhering to radiologic standards and safety regulations. This is a full-time contract position from Tuesday to Friday, 8:30 am to 7 pm for 8 weeks.
The estimated base pay for these positions is $56.57 to $66.85 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct CT assessments and perform diagnostic imaging procedures.
- Maintain and operate CT equipment following safety and infection control standards.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Monitor and document patient progress and imaging results.
- Communicate effectively with patients and healthcare team members.
Job Requirements:
- Associates Degree or higher preferred.
- Valid New York State license to practice Diagnostic Radiography.
- Valid New York State license to inject contrast material preferred; must be obtained within 90 days of hire.
- Valid and current American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT).
- Proficient in computer skills and electronic medical records.
- Strong communication, confidentiality, and customer service skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and as part of a team.
