About the Opportunity:
This contract position involves providing computed tomography (CT) and X-ray imaging services at a specialty orthopedic hospital setting. The CT Technologist operates in various departments, including inpatient, outpatient, and emergency settings, to support a diverse patient population ranging from pediatric to geriatric patients. The technologist is responsible for operating Siemens equipment and conducting imaging procedures, including extremities, spine, pelvis, head, thorax, musculoskeletal trauma, and more. This full-time contract position runs from Wednesday to Saturday with shifts from 2:30 PM to Midnight. Training occurs during the first two weeks with a schedule from Tuesday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 6 PM.
The estimated base pay for these positions are $53.90 to $63.70 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conducting CT scans and X-rays, including brain perfusion and multiplanar reconstruction.
- Providing comprehensive care to a diverse patient demographic, including orthopedic exams.
- Collaborating with healthcare professionals to optimize patient care and safety.
- Monitoring and documenting patient progress and imaging results.
- Staying informed on imaging technology and technique advancements.
Job Requirements:
- ARRT R and ARRT CT Certifications, New York State License, and IV Certification required.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in relevant settings.
- Experience with Siemens equipment is required.
- BLS certification and Epic experience preferred.
- Ability to lift, push, pull, or move patients and equipment exceeding 150 pounds.
