About the Opportunity:
As a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA), you provide crucial support in delivering rehabilitation services to patients. This is a full-time contract position where you assist in executing treatment plans and exercises under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist. You also educate patients and their families on improving mobility and quality of life.
The estimated base pay for these positions are $33.00 to $39.00 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct therapy sessions as outlined by the physical therapist.
- Provide patient education to encourage recovery and independence.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to deliver coordinated care.
- Monitor and document patient progress during therapy sessions.
- Stay informed on best practices in physical therapy and rehabilitation.
Job Requirements:
- Associate degree in Physical Therapist Assistant program.
- Current PTA license or certification.
- Minimum two years of experience in a rehabilitation setting.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
