About the Opportunity:
Join our team as a Registered Nurse in Acute Med Surg Acute Care, providing critical care services to adult and geriatric patients. This part-time contract position focuses on weekend day shifts, offering specialized care in a fast-paced environment. The RN-to-patient ratio is 6:1, ensuring quality attention to each patient.
The estimated base pay for these positions are $48.34 to $57.13 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and create care plans for patients in acute care settings.
- Provide patient education and therapy tailored to individual needs.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive care.
- Monitor and document patient progress accurately and timely.
- Stay informed on current practices in acute care nursing.
Job Requirements:
- Valid RN license with BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications.
- 1-2 years of step-down/telemetry experience required.
- Proficiency with EMR systems, particularly Paragon and Pyxis.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
