About the Opportunity:
This full-time contract position for an Ultrasound Tech specializes in providing vascular imaging services to patients, focusing on those with peripheral vascular disease. The role involves working in a multidisciplinary clinic alongside podiatry and vascular surgery teams and delivering vital ultrasound services to adult and geriatric patients. No on-call or weekend work is required for this position, and the dress code is scrubs in Blue/Royal Blue. Orientations occur bi-weekly, ensuring a seamless start to your assignment.
The estimated base pay for these positions are $49.50 to $58.50 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct vascular assessments and create care plans.
- Provide ultrasound imaging for peripheral vascular disease.
- Collaborate with podiatry and vascular surgery professionals to coordinate care.
- Monitor and document patient progress using charting systems.
- Stay informed on current practices in ultrasound technology.
Job Requirements:
- One RDMS registry is sufficient (Abdomen OR OB/GYN), RVT is required, BLS is required.
- At least 1 year of experience in a relevant setting.
- Preferred experience in community hospital environments.
- Key skills required include experience with GE, PACS, Philips, Siemens, SonoSite systems, and various vascular studies.
