About the Opportunity:
The Medical Assistant in this contract role supports the Gynecologic Oncologist by assisting with surgeries and performing inpatient rounds as well as managing outpatient clinics. This full-time position operates Monday through Friday, collaborating closely within a very small team with one other physician. As an essential support, the Medical Assistant ensures patient care and coordination of services at both Orange Coast Medical Center and Saddleback Medical Center.
The estimated base pay for these positions are $122.27 to $144.50 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conducting surgical first assist duties in the operating room.
- Providing support during inpatient rounds and outpatient clinics.
- Collaborating closely with one physician to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Monitoring and documenting patient progress effectively.
Job Requirements:
- At least 2-3 years of experience in a surgical gyn onc environment.
- Professional comfort in working independently within a small team.
