About the Opportunity:
This full-time contract position offers an opportunity for a Medical Assistant to support a Gynecologic Oncologist. The position involves performing surgical first assist, inpatient rounds, and managing duties in an outpatient clinic. The role requires collaboration within a small team environment and demands comfort with independent work, supporting surgical activities at Orange Coast Medical Center and Saddleback Medical Center.
The estimated base pay for these positions are $122.27 to $144.50 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide surgical first assist support.
- Conduct inpatient rounds and attend to outpatient clinic duties.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Monitor and document patient progress efficiently.
Job Requirements:
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience, preferably with surgical gyn onc experience.
- Epic experience required.
- Ability to work independently within a small team environment.
