About the Opportunity:
This position involves assisting with patient care in an adult outpatient clinic setting, with a focus on urology services. Candidates conduct various assessments, assist in procedures, and provide administrative support to ensure smooth clinic operations. This is a full-time contract position.
The estimated base pay for these positions are $26.95 to $31.85 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conducting assessments and recording medical histories for patients.
- Providing assistance with urology-related procedures and patient care.
- Collaborating with healthcare professionals to coordinate care.
- Monitoring and documenting patient progress in EPIC.
- Staying informed on best practices within the urology field.
Job Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED (required).
- BLS certification (required).
- Completion of a formal Medical Assistant training program (required).
- Medical Assistant Certification (AAMA-CMA, AMT-RMA) preferred.
- One or more years of experience as a Medical Assistant (preferred).
- Experience with EPIC charting system (preferred).
- Proficient in aseptic technique and urology clinic procedures.
- Korean speaking ability (preferred).
