About the Opportunity:
The Medical Assistant provides essential support in adult outpatient clinics, ensuring efficient patient flow and delivering high-quality care in an OB/GYN setting. This part-time contract position involves assisting healthcare teams by preparing patients for examinations, taking vital signs, and maintaining accurate medical records. The role supports a collaborative and organized work environment essential for patient care.
The estimated base pay for these positions are $22.00 to $26.00 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct patient assessments and gather medical history.
- Prepare examination rooms and assist healthcare professionals.
- Collaborate with physicians and nurses to coordinate patient care.
- Monitor and document patient vital signs and clinical information.
- Stay informed on clinical practices related to outpatient care.
Job Requirements:
- High School diploma or GED.
- BLS certification.
- Medical Assistant certification preferred.
- One or more years of experience as a Medical Assistant preferred.
- Familiarity with EPIC charting system.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
