About the Opportunity:
The dental hygienist collaborates with the dentist to address patients' oral health needs. This full-time contract position emphasizes providing high-quality patient care and ensuring satisfaction within a team-oriented environment. Responsibilities include managing various clinical duties pivotal to dental office operations while maintaining excellent customer service and strong collaboration with patients, dentists, dental assistants, and other team members.
The estimated base pay for these positions are $52.25 to $61.75 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct GBT Guided Biofilm Therapy equipment operation when required.
- Provide oral hygiene dental treatment and education per state-approved guidelines.
- Apply fluoride and protective sealants; remove calculus, stains, and plaque.
- Deliver nutritional counseling and self-care programs to prevent disease.
- Record and review patient medical histories.
- Uphold office policies, including HIPAA & OSHA standards.
- Contribute to team efforts by completing related tasks as needed.
- Order and track inventory requirements.
Job Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Graduation from an accredited Dental Hygiene school.
- Current state-issued Dental Hygiene license.
- CPR certification.
- X-ray training or certification.
- Minimum of one year of hands-on experience as a hygienist.
- Experience in GBT Guided Biofilm Therapy equipment operation.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
