About the Opportunity:
We are looking for a skilled Radiation Therapist to provide high-quality radiation therapy to adult patients as part of a multidisciplinary team. This is a full-time contract position that involves administering accurate radiation treatment as per the physician's prescription, maintaining patient records, and ensuring patient safety during each procedure. The therapist collaborates with a team to monitor and adapt treatment plans, maintains equipment, and employs innovative technologies in radiation oncology.
The estimated base pay for these positions are $52.25 to $61.75 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and create individualized care plans for radiation therapy.
- Provide treatments using Varian Linear Accelerators and TrueBeam technology.
- Collaborate with oncologists, medical physicists, and nurses to coordinate patient care.
- Monitor and document patient progress using EPIC charting system.
- Stay informed on the latest developments in radiation oncology and safety protocols.
Job Requirements:
- ARRT-T, ARRT-R, and BLS certifications.
- Minimum three years of experience in radiation therapy.
- Prior experience with Variam TrueBeam and ARIA systems.
- Proficiency in EPIC charting.
- Preferred experience in community hospital settings and trauma level I & II environments.
