About the Opportunity:
Provide critical nursing care in the Emergency Department as a Registered Nurse. This contract position at a healthcare facility in Rome, NY requires immediate start availability. Work involves assessing and managing patients in a 14-bed unit with patient ratios of 4 or 5 to 1. Fulfill responsibilities during 12-hour night shifts.
The estimated base pay for these positions are $51.15 to $60.45 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and create care plans for emergency patients.
- Provide emergency medical care and interventions.
- Collaborate with doctors and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care.
- Monitor and document patient progress and vital statistics.
- Stay informed on the latest emergency medical practices and protocols.
Job Requirements:
- Current RN license.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in an emergency department setting.
- Certification in BLS, ACLS, and TNCC.
- Proficiency in using EMR systems, specifically D T systems and Pyxis.
